Resident Evil Revelations is a survival horror game developed and published by CapCom.

The game was first released in 2012 for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console and then later ported to other platforms such as PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.

The game's storyline follows series regulars Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they investigate a bioterrorism threat in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. They are soon trapped on a virus-infested cruise ship named the Queen Zenobia where they must survive and uncover the secrets of the bioterrorist organization known as Veltro.

The gameplay mechanics consist of exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat. The player must scavenge for ammunition and resources while fighting off hordes of infected enemies including new mutations that were not present in past Resident Evil games. The game also introduces a new scanning device called the Genesis which allows players to find hidden items and gain vital information.

Resident Evil Revelations is considered a return to form for the franchise after some mixed reception to previous entries. Its engaging storyline, tense atmosphere, and mix of old and new gameplay mechanics make it an essential title for any survival horror fan.
